Financing Recycling

Kindersley, like many municipalities across Canada, operates a recycling program for waste packaging and paper. Like other communities, we, the taxpayers, pay for the collection of the recyclable material at our depots around Kindersley.

The good news is that through the Multi-Material Stewardship Western product management program Kindersley can recoup up to 75% of the net cost of a program that is an effective and efficient waste packaging and paper collection and recycling program.

This change is behind the scenes and should not affect services. The start date of this program is in August.
