We have been working on a number of plans to prepare for growth and implement responsible change. Below are the plans we are working on, its status, and due date.
- OCP & Zoning Bylaw:
- Provincial recommendations are be incorporated,
- Approval by Council the end of April or the beginning of May.
- Asset Management Plan (AM)
- First stage is mostly complete and being incorporated into the budget.
- Infrastructure Capacity Plan
- almost complete,
- being incorporated into the budget and long term financial plan.
- Communication Plan
- in process and includes enhancing branding
- Long term financial plan
- this is an ongoing process incorporating AM, Infrastructure Capacity Plan.
- Waste Management Plan
- being undertaken with potential regional partners
- new site to be operational Q3 2015
- Council Policy Review
- ongoing and included in Council Retreat with George Cuff
- Strategic Plan
- passed by Council March 24, 2014
- Traffic Plan
- incorporated into 2014 budget and will be completed in the 2015 budget
- Organizational Effectiveness Review
- being implemented through:
- Council Retreat
- New organizational chart reflecting alignment of roles and responsibilities
- Determining how best to implement some other changes including Human Resource support
- this will take time to implement
