The Motherwell Walking Trail Bridge

Have you had an opportunity to walk around the Motherwell Trail and use the new bridge? I have and it is an excellent addition to our community. Earlier in the spring it was a delight to watch the overflow water go under the bridge into the runoff area.

There is still work to be done on the bridge including landscaping the approaches.

Since the bridge has been installed the bridge has been misused. As you can see in the photo quads have been using the bridge and making skid marks. As a result the guards have been placed and signs erected indicating the limited use of the bridge.
