Last night Tyrone Kennedy-Bush, a skateboard enthusiast, presented to Council his idea for a skateboard area at the rink near the water treatment plant.
Council likes Tyrone's initiative and has encouraged him to work with the group that has done some work to fix it up, form a group/committee to apply for funds, and work with Administration to ensure it is as safe as is reasonably possible.
So to all of you skateboarders, have fun, be safe, and respect the neighbours.
