CBC Investigative Report: Landfill Fire
Since the fire at the landfill was extinguished CBC has been conducting an investigative report. The results will be broadcast tomorrow morning on CBC Radio 1 and during their supper news on TV.
CBC has been talking with Bernie, I did a 45 minute interview with them a couple of weeks ago, reviewing various landfill reports, and visiting other communities to assess their situation. I have no idea what will be broadcast but I do suspect they will be wondering if the province has been enforcing the regulations and questioning the level of support the province has been providing municipalities.
