Protective Services and Safety Coordinator

Earth moving is happening east of the C-Store north of Wal Mart and we anticipate that there will also be earth moving equipment east of Caleb Village north of the Motherwell Reservoir by the end of the month pending weather and provincial approval. Next spring, we anticipate will be busy. As we look forward we are mindful that Kindersley is free from unnecessary risk to ourselves and our property and that our future prosperity is assured. To address these goals the Town hired a Protective Services and Safety Coordinator, Tanya. The policy manual calls for the CAO to

Tanya will coordinate the Town Safety Plan and its implementation, oversee the OH&S Committee, provide administrative support to the Fire Department such as data input and billings, stats, etc. Currently the Fire Department does this. Tanya will also be the Town's new Emergency Measures Organization Coordinator in the event of an emergency.

This position is new to Kindersley. It consolidates positions that had been done on a contract basis into one plus ensure the Town is in compliance with regulators.
