The Battleford's Immigration Resource Centre will be in Kindersley on a regular basis starting the end of November. Their purpose is to be a gateway for newcomers to the region by helping them find:
- information,
- resources,
- services, and
- people,
to help their move to Saskatchewan be a success.
The Resource Centre strives to provide the skills, confidence, and knowledge to enable our new neighbours to adjust to their new life in Saskatchewan. Here are some of the services provided by the Resource Centre:
- accommodations,
- health care,
- schools,
- community information,
- immigration information,
- language improvement, and
- needs assessment.
If the immigrants need help with employment the Resource Centre can help with:
- resume writing,
- cover letters,
- job search skills,
- interview skills,
- workplace culture, and
- foreign credential assessments.
