The local Legion celebrated D-Day this year. 70 years ago on June 6th, 1944 Allied Forces landed on the beaches of France as part of their effort to remove the Nazis from power. Members of the Kindersley Air Cadets were present at the Juno Beach Celebration.

There was significant celebrations in Europe as well with the main one at Sword Beach and Canada's Juno Beach Celebration.
