Off Lead Dog Park: Senses Unleashed

Coming soon is an off lead dog park called Senses Unleashed. Funding for the project comes from the CN EcoConnexions’ From the Ground Up program. The Town of Kindersley was one of 30 recipients chosen in 2014 from among 191 applications. The park is to be located south of the rail line and west of Ditson Dr.

Last meeting Council decided to remove the recycle bins for a variety of reasons. One of the results of that decision is to beautify the area and open up parking for dog owners using the new dog park. Last year Council was asked to build an off lead dog park and we weren't able to do it at that time. It is good to be able to finally able to do it.

Imagine the area with new plants, paths, trees, and shrubs. And, similar to the interpretative signs at Motherwell, there will be signs in Senses Unleashed of the local ecology.
