FCM: AGM Highlights

·         Due to changes in the Charity Act a number of FCM’s bylaws needed to be changed. (If you are a member of a non-profit organization you may want to review your bylaws within the context of the revised Charities Act)

·         The Federal Government was not dialoguing with FCM regarding the BCF (Build Canada Fund) prior to announcements

·         FCM is not supportive of some of the changes made with BCF

·         110 urban and rural municipalities joined FCM in the last year
