And Now for Something Completely Different: The Health Clinic

Can you handle a non-fire related story. Okay, sit back, take a breath and be prepared to be amazed; this more good news.

The Kindersley Clinic has been building up capacity over the past months with the recruitment of new physicians and extended hours.

First of all I want to extend a warm welcome to our new doctors.
  • Dr. Jimenez-Guerra
  • Dr. Lynda Keaveney
  • Dr. Sam Bakare
  • Dr. Hatim Kheir
  • Dr. Bisayo Olabiyi
Some more are still expected over the next months.

Over the past year and more we have developed new habits of travelling out of town for health care; we were one of those families. We don't need to do that anymore. Along with more physicians other changes have been made to ensure effective and timely care. Here are some of the changes you will notice:
  • More physicians,
  • Nurse scheduler,
  • New scheduling system
  • Extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays,
  • Physicals are now being completed (I recently had my first one in years - everything was normal but you may disagree)
  • Botox is now available,
  • Aviation Medicals,
  • SGI Drivers Medicals, and
  • Walk ins. (I had to pause and read that twice but it is true.)
This is great news for Kindersley and I want to congratulate the teamwork between the Kindersley and District Health and Wellness Foundation and Heartland Health for the improved level of care in Kindersley.
