Expansion of Water West Regional Line

·         Thank you to Minister Ritz, Minister Reiter, and Mr. Melnyk for the work completed to extend the water west line.

·         We’ve had a very eventful week in Kindersley, and this is certainly the kind of good news that’s worth waiting for.

·         The Water West regional line is a multi-generational project of great significance and importance for west central Saskatchewan and all the communities and partners who have been involved.

·         Expansion of this line is cause for celebration not only for the RM and Town of Kindersley and our surrounding municipal partners, but perhaps more importantly for our rural users.

·         I am excited that this project will mean that more homes and families can enjoy access to Town of Kindersley water…water that even the Province has described as some “the best quality treated water available.”

·         This expansion also provides customers with added safety since it will now be possible for rural users to install fire hydrants on their farms and acreages in the unfortunate event of a fire – something which Kindersley knows all too well can happen.

·         Congratulations to the RM of Kindersley. The Town celebrates your success in this project and appreciates your continued support and partnership in this and many regional efforts.
