Provincial Infrastructure Deficit

SUMA estimates that the SK infrastructure deficit, or asset cost recovery, is approximately $27 billion. Along with municipalities and the federal government the SK Party government has spent $1 billion addressing the deficit.

There is still a long way to go to address the deficit not to mention the need for new infrastructure including: water, sanitation, gutters, curbs, sidewalks, roadways, lift stations, water and sewage treatment plants, parks, aquatic centres, field houses, and theatres.
